Our community workers can assist the Deaf community with:
  • Filling in forms.
  • Explaining and answering correspondence.
  • Dealing with complaints regarding service provision to the Deaf member (e.g. Hospitals not providing Auslan interpreters etc).
  • Ringing organisations or government departments (e.g. Police, Banks, Centrelink, etc).
  • Provide referrals to other services (e.g. counselors, interpreters, etc).

This is a free service provided where the Deaf community can simply walk in to our offices and discuss certain life matters in an open and confidential setting.
