Interpreting
Deaf Services Queensland offer accredited, highly experienced Australian Sign Language (Auslan) Interpreters. The demand for Auslan interpreters is high therefore it is highly recommended that you book an Auslan interpreter wit us as soon as the need arises.
Community Access

Where necessary, the activities of every day living of Deaf and hard of hearing people and their families are supported by a team of qualified community workers who are bi-lingual in Auslan and English. 

Learning Auslan
to help in improving access for the Deaf. We have been providing Auslan courses since 1985. Auslan is the language of approximately 15,000 Deaf Australians, is a visual language and growing in popularity.

Lifestyle Support

Deaf adults with other disabilities can enjoy a quality independent lifestyle with assistance from the team of the Lifestyle Support Services.
Employment Support
Sign On Employment is a Disability Employment Network agency for Deaf and hard of hearing job seekers. Programs are tailored to meet the needs of the individual to find work.
National Relay Service
People who are Deaf or have hearing and speech difficulties can still use the telephone. Contact the National Relay Service Education and Information Officer.
