Brett Casey
Chief Executive Officer - Deaf Services Queensland
Brett has been General Manger of Deaf Services Queensland since 2004 and CEO since February 2010. Prior to this, Brett spent a considerable part of his working life in the deaf field, in both advocacy and service organisations. He has served as Manager and Board Member of the Australian Association of the Deaf and is a member of the World Federation of the Deaf Human Rights Expert Group.
Brett’s academic achievements include a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Arts. Brett’s interests lies in International, Human Rights and Discrimination law. He has published a number of papers and articles on Deaf topics in academic journals.
Angelo Toscano
Chief Financial Officer
Angelo has been with Deaf Services Queensland and Deaf Children Australia since March 2006. Prior to joining the organisation, Angelo worked as a senior manager of the Shared Services Division in the corporate sector of a large energy company. Angelo has a strong finance and commercial background which is supported by academic achievements including a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Professional Accounting.
