Deaf Services Queensland is governed by a Board of Directors whose job it is to set strategic direction and represent stakeholders in determining appropriate organisational performance. To guide this work, Strategic Results Policies, Governance Process Policies, Board/CEO Linkage Policies and CEO Limitations Policies have been established.
These policies are reviewed throughout the year based on an annual agenda that includes an annual planning retreat. Directors on the Board work voluntarily and contribute a wealth of knowledge and experience which is very much appreciated.
