Deaf Services Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation that provides auslan interpreting and translations, community services and education, independent living skills support, and sign language classes and to the Deaf community throughout Queensland. All of these services assist the Deaf community and provide a connection between the Deaf and hearing communities.
Being a small not-for-profit organisation, we rely heavily on the generosity of the community. Without consistent funding and donations, a lot of the programs and services we provide would not be sustainable in the long term. All donations, whether big or small, are greatly appreciated and go toward continually increasing our capacity to provide these important services to the Deaf and hearing impaired communities of Queensland.
