In addition to offering one on one care, the Lifestyle Support Service also hosts a range of group programs and activities for clients to participate in.

The Social Access program provides Deaf and hard of hearing individuals with access to the community through the organisation of recreational activities, regular social outings and informative discussions.

The outings are based on the needs and interests of the group and can include:

  • Holidays
  • Live Sporting Matches
  • Museums
  • Theatre and movie screenings
  • Cultural exhibitions
  • Christmas Lights
  • Craft
  • Community events

Activities are varied and are focused on bringing clients together, providing access to a wider network and the opportunity to socialise.

Lifestyle Support Service team members facilitate these events, provide transport before and after and offer care to participants during the program. Group support clients love the opportunity to join in, have fun and be part of the community.
